The flat stop end elements are used as form-work to construct a well-defi ned junction between neighbouring diaphragm wall panels.
A fl at stop end element consists of a welded construction comprising three parallel tube segments, each with a socket and tappet, several lining plates and, if required,
additional extensions. A complete strand is formed by the assembly of individual stop end elements and normally incorporates a
reinforced head piece, a bottom element and several intermediate elements. It is possible to adapt the extensions according to the excavation width.
